| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada PSL(2, C) grubunun bir alt grubu olan Picard grubu ve bunun bazı alt grupları ele alınmıştır. Bu grup ilk olarak Picard tarafından incelenmiştir. Daha sonra Fricke ve Klein tarafından Picard grubu olarak adlandırılmıştır. Picard grubu hem soyut grup olarak hem de otomorf fonksiyonlar teorisinde önemli bir gruptur. Çalışma üç bölüm halinde düzenlenmiştir. Birinci bölümde, çalışmanın ikinci ve üçüncü bölümlerindeki incelemeler için gerekli olan temel kavramlar verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, çalışmanın esas konusu olan Picard grubu tanımlanarak temel özellikleri verilmiştir. Picard grubunun önemli bir alt grubu olan modüler grup ele alınarak, özellikle Picard grubunun Fuchsian alt grupları ayrıntılı biçimde incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, Picard grubunun normal Fuchsian alt grupları ile ilgili bazı sonuçlar verilmiştir. Son olarak Picard grubunun temel denklik alt grupları tanımlanarak, bu alt grupların yapısını belirleyen teoremler ifade edilmiştir. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | In this thesis some subgroups of the Picard group which is a subgroup of PSL(2, C) are discussed. This group was first studied by Picard. Later on Fricke and Klein named it the Picard group after him. It is important as an abstract group and also in the theory of automorphic functions. This work consist of three chapters. In the first chapter basic notions which are necessary in the second and third chapters are given. In the second chapter the main subject of this thesis, ±e Picard group is defined and its basic properties are listed. By means of the modular group which is an important subgroup of the Picard group, Fuchsian subgroups of the Picard group are discussed in detail. In the last chapter, some results concerning normal Fuchsian subgroups of the Picard group are given. Finally the principal congruence subgroup of the Picard group are defined and theorems determining the group structure of them are given. | en_US |
