Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the distribution of the inhalant allergens in the children with extrinsic bronchial asthma in our region. For this purpose specific skin tests have been done in 92 asthmatic children. Most of the positive results were against the house dust mites (% 72.8). Among the species of mites D. Pteronyssinus (% 60.8) has been fowid more frequently than D. Farinae (% 52.1). But there were no significant differences between the percentage of these two species. The other allergens which were responsible were poultry feather (% 47.8) and grass polens (% 38.0) olive (% 30.4) and pinus polens (% 26.0) were determined as high rates among the tree species that there are lots of them in our region. On the other hand mould spores, such as Aspergillus and Mucor were % 28.2 and Altemaria was % 26.0 found positive test results.
