Abstract
Bu araştırma, Cumhuriyetin ilanından günümüze kadar yapılmış olan musiki eğitimi uygulamalarında, programlarda, musiki ders kitaplarında ve şarkı dağarlarında THM'nin kullanımının, yerinin ve öneminin ortaya çıkarılması amacı ile yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla; öncelikle Cumhuriyet öncesi ve sonrası musiki eğitimi ve gelişimi incelenip, program ve musiki ders kitaplarında, THM ile ilgili veriler taranarak, 1950 yılları sonrası musiki ders kitapları ve şarkı dağarlarının, türlere göre oranları yorumlanmıştır. Yapılan araştırmada THM'ne, programlarda çok az yer verildiği ve musiki eğitiminde amaçsız ve metodsuz olarak yanlış kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak, ilgili kaynakların taranması ve verilerin değerlendirilmesi ile, THM'nin eğitimde kullanımının, bilimsel ve sanatsal özelliklerden yoksun olduğu ortaya çıkarılarak, önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
This survey research has been made to achieve the significance of Turkish Folk Music and its usage and impression on the implementation of music education, on the programmes, on the music books and on the album of songs beginning from the establishment of Republic to up to date. For this reason; first the music education; before and after the Republic, and its development are examined and then the notions (idias) in the programmes and music books are searched thoroughly regarding Turkish Folk Music for making comments on the music books and on the album of songs, written after 1950, according to the ratis of types. This research showed that less importance is given to Turkish Folk Music and also being without aims and methods it is used in the wrong sence. As a conclusion, by examining the relevant sources and evalua ting the ideas it is revealed that there is lack of science and art in the usage of Turkish Folk Music in music education and therefore there has been made several suggestions.
