Esmâ-i Hüsnâ’da tevkîfilik – kıyâsîlik problemi: Fahreddîn er-Râzî örneği

Abstract

Esmâ-i Hüsnâ konusuna yaklaşımda temelde iki teori vardır. Bunlardan ilki, Allah’ın isimlerinin sadece vahye dayalı olduğunu iddia eden tevkîf anlayışı, ikincisi ise insanın da Allah’a isim verebileceğini ileri süren kıyâs anlayışıdır. Bununla birlikte bu iki teori bütünüyle birbirine zıt değildir. Hatta aralarında bazı benzerlikler bile bulunmaktadır. Bu makalede, bu iki teori arasındaki bir takım benzerlikleri, bunları temsil eden Eşarî, kelâmcı Fahreddîn er-Râzî ve Mutezilî kelâmcı Ebû Ali el-Cübbâî’ye atıflarda bulunarak göstermeye çalışacağız.

There are mainly two theories in the approach to al-Asmā alHusnā (The Most Beautiful Names): One of them is tawqīf theory which, assumes that the names of Allah depend only on the revelation. Second one is qiyās theory which, assumes that human being also can give a name to Allah. But these theories are not contradictory at all, and, even there are some resemblances between them. In this article, we try to show some resemblances betwwen these two theories by referring to Asharite Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī and Mutazilite Abū Alī al-Jubbāī, representatives of these theories.
