Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, imam hatip lisesi meslek dersleri öğretmenlerinin mesleğe adanmışlık ve mesleki tükenmişlik düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel ve ilişkisel tarama yöntemi kullanılarak veriler elde edilmiştir. Araştırma 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılında Balıkesir’de bulunan 18 Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesinde görev yapan 65’i erkek, 45’i kadın olmak üzere toplamda 110 meslek dersleri öğretmeninden veri toplanarak yürütülmüştür. Öğretmenlere demografik bilgi formu, “mesleğe adanmışlık” ve “mesleki tükenmişlik” ölçekleri online ortamda uygulanmıştır. Öğretmenlerin adanmışlık ve tükenmişlik düzeyleri yaş, cinsiyet, mesleki kıdem, medeni durum, çocuk sahibi olup-olmama, sınıfta bulunan öğrenci sayısı, okulun bulunduğu sosyo-ekonomik çevre, üstlerinden takdir görüp-görmeme, çalışılan okul ortamından memnun olup-olmama, mesleğini isteyerek yapıp-yapmama, mesleğinde verimli olup-olmama ve meslekten duyduğu manevi doyum değişkenlerine göre incelenmiştir. Bazı değişkenlerin öğretmenlerin adanmışlık/tükenmişlik düzeylerini etkilediği görülmüştür. Genel olarak bakıldığında ise İHL meslek dersleri öğretmenlerinin mesleğe adanmışlık düzeylerinin yüksek, mesleki tükenmişlik düzeylerinin ise düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca İHL meslek dersleri öğretmenlerinin mesleğe adanmışlık ve mesleki tükenmişlik düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek için korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Sonuçlar mesleğe adanmışlık ve mesleki tükenmişlik arasında negatif bir ilişki olduğunu göstermiştir. Tüm bu bulgular literatürdeki çalışmaların bulguları göz önüne alınarak tartışılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to examine the level of commitment and professional burnout of teachers of imam hatip high school vocational courses. The study was carried out with quantitative research methods, descriptive and relational analyzes were used. The research was carried out by collecting data from a total of 110 vocational course teachers, 65 male and 45 female, working in 18 Anatolian imam hatip high schools in Balıkesir in the academic year 2019-2020. The demographic information form, “commitment to the profession” and “professional burnout” scales were applied to teachers online. Teachers' level of commitment and burnout was examined according to the variables of age, gender, professional seniority, marital status, childbearing status, number of students in the classroom, the socio-economic environment of the school, appreciation from their superiors, satisfaction with the school environment in which they work, doing their job voluntarily, being productive in their profession and spiritual satisfaction. Some variables were found to affect teachers' commitment / burnout levels. In general, it was determined that teachers' commitment to the profession is high and occupational burnout levels are low. In addition, a correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between the commitment to the profession and professional burnout levels of teachers of IHL vocational courses. The results showed that there is a negative relationship between professional commitment and professional burnout. All these findings are discussed considering the findings of the studies in the literature.
