Abstract
Gemlik bölgesindeki ilkokul öğrencilerinde büyüme ve gelişmenin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla antropometrik ölçümler yapıldı. Farklı sosyo-ekonomik yapıdaki 608 erkek, 599 kız öğrencide kol ve önkol uzunlukları ölçülerek boy, cins ve yaşa göre ilişkileri araştırıldı. Bulgularımız bölgemizde daha önce elde edilen sonuçlarla benzerlik gösterdi.
Anthropometric measurements were used in order to determine the physical growth of the primary school children in Gemlik Area. Upper ann and foreanıı lengths of 608 boys and 599 girls in different socio-economic status were measured and the correlations of these lengths with height, sex and age were studied. As a result, our findings were not different from the former findings in the area.
