Abstract
1980’li yıllar itibariyle uluslararası ilişkilerde teoriler anlamında Üçüncü Büyük Tartışma (Third Great Debates) adıyla iki temel tartışma yaşanmıştır. İki merkez tartışmadan biri olan pozitivist teoriler ve post-pozitivist teoriler tartışmasında post-pozitivist (eleştirel/reflektivist) teoriler arasında gösterilen İngiliz Okulu ve Uluslararası Toplum Teorisi incelenmiştir. İkinci Dünya Savaşı sonrası uluslararası toplumun esas sorunları İngiliz Okulu’ndaki temel kuram ve savlar ile irdelenmiştir. İngiliz yazarlar tarafından çalışmalarında uluslararası toplum temel analiz birimi olarak belirlenmiştir. İngiliz Okulu içinde toplum yapıları Hobbesiyenalizm veya Makyavelizm (Realizm-Uluslararası Sistem), Grotiyenalizm (Rasyonalizm- Uluslararası Toplum) ve Kantiyenalizm (Devrimcilik-Dünya Toplumu) olarak ayrılmıştır.
Since the 1980s’ in the sense of International Relations, there were two main discussions taking place under the name of the Third Great Debate. Being one of the two central debates, the discussion between positivist and postpositivist theories, it studied the English School and the theory of International Community as part of the post-positivist (critical/reflectivist) theories. After the Second World War, the main problems of the International Community were examined according to the fundamental theories and arguments of English School. The English authors designed the international community as the principal analysis unit, while the community structures within the English School are divided into Hobbesianism or Machiavellianism (Realism-International System), Grotianism (RationalismInternational Society) and Kantianism (Revolutionism-World Society).
