Bıldırcınlarda (Coturnix coturnix Japonica) farklı yaş dönemlerinin kan kolesterol, kalsiyum ve fosfor düzeyleri ile yumurta verimi ve kabuk kalitesine etkileri

Abstract

Araştırma bıldırcınlarda farklı yaş dönemlerinde kan kolesterol, kalsiyum, fosfor düzeylerindeki değişimleri belirlemek, ayrıca bu değişimlerin yumurta verimi ve kabuk kalitesine etkisini ortaya koymak amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada yaşın kan total kolesterol düzeyi üzerine etkisi önemsiz bulunmuştur (P>0.05). Araştırmada kan total kolesterol düzeyi 6. haftada 195.60 mg/dl, 14. haftada 206.50 mg/dl ve 30. haftada 217.40 mg/dl olarak gözlenmiştir. İncelenen yaş dönemlerinde kan kalsiyum düzeyi de önemsiz bulunmuştur (P>0.05). Kan kalsiyum düzeyleri 6. haftada 21.00mg/dl, 14. haftada 21.11 mg/dl ve 30. haftada 21.84 mg/dl olarak saptanmıştır. Yaşın kan fosfor düzeyine etkisi ise önemli bulunmuştur (P<0.01). Araştırmada kan fosfor düzeyi yaşın artışına bağlı olarak düşüş göstermiştir. En yüksek kan fosfor düzeyi hayvanların ilk yumurtaya başladıkları dönem olan 6. haftada saptanmıştır. Araştırmada kan fosfor düzeyi 6. haftada 6.83 mg/dl, 14. haftada 5.64 mg/dl ve 30. haftada 4.35 mg/dl olarak gözlenmiştir. Araştırmada incelenen yaş dönemlerinde (6, 14 ve 30 hafta) yumurta verimleri sırasıyla %17.75, 87.82 ve 62.26 olarak saptanmıştır. Yaşın yumurta ağırlığına etkisi önemli bulunmuştur (P<0.01). En yüksek yumurta ağırlığı kuşların 14. haftalık yaşa ulaştığı dönemde saptanmıştır. Yumurta kabuk ağırlığı üzerine yaşın etkisi de önemli bulunmuştur (P<0.01). En yüksek kabuk ağırlığı 14 haftalık yaş döneminde saptanmış 6 ve 30 haftalık yaş dönemlerinde yumurta kabuk ağırlığı benzerlik göstermiştir. Benzer şekilde yumurta kabuk kalınlığı üzerine de yaşın etkisi önemli bulunmuştur (P<0.05). Araştırmada kabuk kalınlığı 6. haftada 0.218mm, 14. haftada 0.220mm ve 30. haftada 0.211mm olarak gözlenmiştir.

This study is carried out in order to find out the variations of cholesterol, calcium and phosphorus levels of blood at different age periods of quails and put forward the effect of these variations to egg production and shell quality. It is find out that the influence of age on cholesterol level is not significant (P>0.05). The cholesterol levels at the 6th, 14th and 30th weeks are observed to be 195.60 mg/dl, 260.50 mg/dl and 217.40 mg/dl respectively. Blood calcium level differences are also found to be insignificant (P>0.05). The calcium levels at the 6th, 14th and 30th weeks are observed to be 21.00 mg/dl, 21.11 mg/dl and 21.84 mg/dl respectively. But the influence of age on blood phosphorus level is found to be significant (P<0.01). In the study, blood phosphorus level decreases by the increasing age. The highest blood phosphorus level is observed at the 6th week in which the birds begin egg production. The phosphorus levels at the 6th, 14th and 30th weeks are observed to be 6.83 mg/dl, 5.64 mg/dl and 4.35 mg/dl respectively. During the considered age periods (6th, 14th and 30th weeks) egg productions are found to be 17.75%, 87.82% and 62.26% respectively. The influence of age on egg weight is found to be significant (P<0.01). The maximum egg weight is determined when the birds reach 14 weeks old age. The influence of age on egg shell weight is also found to be significant (P<0.01). The maximum shell weight is observed at 14 weeks old period and it is find out to be similar at both 6 and 30 weeks old periods. Similarly the influence of age on egg shell thickness is also found to be significant (P<0.05). The shell thickness at the 6th, 14th and 30th weeks are observed to be 0.218 mm, 0.220 mm and 0.211 mm respectively.
