| dc.description.abstract | Industrial applications of electrical discharge compaction process for powdered metals were studied. In this process the electricity stored in capacitors is discharged by means of a spark switch, allowing an instantaneous current to pass through the circuit. The results indicate that this method combines the advantages of compacting metal powders and fast sintering. | |
