Özet

In simple terms, heart failure means a mismatch between filling the ventricle with blood and its injection. Basically, it is defined as heart failure with low ejection fraction (HFrEF), heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), and HF with mildly reduced EF (HFmrEF). Heart failure patients must be well evaluated in the preoperative period and operated under hemodynamically optimal conditions. These patients must be meticulously followed during the perioperative and postoperative periods. Individuals with peripheral vascular disease represent a group with important characteristics for anesthesiologists due to the additional comorbidities that occur as a result of the primary disease or have.
