The production and consumption of fertilizer in our country has increased repidly since 1940. However, consumption per unit area is still extremely lower than taht of the developed countries. Especially in recent years increase in price of fertilizers has caused a decline in the rate of increase of fertilizer consumption. On the other hand in certain areas incorrect or excessive use of fertilizer has been seen. In order to get better result from the fertilization, the application has to be widely dependent to soil and plant analysis. Furthermore kinds of fertilizers have to be increased and production of composed fertilizers including various plant nutrients should be stimulated. 1
