This case was aimed to report clinical, radiological, ultrasonographical and bacterial culture analysis results of a young dog with prostatomegaly. An 18-month-old age Anatolian shepherd dog undergoing treatment of chronic non-healing pressure wounds in hind leg was presented with a small amount of liquid stool and prolonged straining to defecate. Prostatomegaly was diagnosed radiographically and the other examinations confirmed the pathology. Chronic prostatitis caused by prostatomegaly had developed insidiously without prior bouts of acut prostatitis in this dog. The case was treated succesfully.
