Machiavelli ve Hobbes’da insan doğası sorunu

Abstract

İnsan doğasının ne olduğuna ilişkin soru, ilkçağdan beri felsefede tartışılan bir konudur. Nitekim bu konuda filozoflar, birbirinden çok farklı alternatif görüşler ortaya koymuşlardır. Çalışmamızın da konusunu oluşturan Machiavelli ve Hobbes’da kendi toplum ve politika felsefeleri bağlamında insan doğası sorununa değinmişlerdir. Her iki düşünürün insan doğasına pesimist bir yaklaşım sergilediği görülür. Fakat, onların bu konuyu ele alış tarzlarında farklı yönler de vardır.The question related with what the human nature is has been a subject which has been argued since the ancient times. Nevertheless, philosophers pointed out quite different alternative thoughts in this subject. Also, Hobbes and Machiavelli, who comprise the subject of our research, concerned with problem of human nature from their perspectives of society and political philosophy. It can be seen that both of these philosophers approach human nature in a pesimist way. But different ways exist in their methods and styles of evaluating this subjet.
