dc.description.abstractBu çalışma kadınların meslek seçim sürecindeki iki yeni kavramı tanıtmaktadır: Kişisel temsil yeteneği ve çoğul rol gerçekçiliği. Kadınların meslek seçimi çok küçük yaşlardan itibaren kültürel değerler tarafından etkilenir. Kişisel temsil yeteneği iyi olan, yani atılgan, araştırmacı, özerklik, baskınlık ve başarı ihtiyacı içindeki kadının meslek yönelimi daha başarılı olacaktır. Ancak bu kez iş ve aile yaşamını dengelemekle güçlük çekecektir. Çoğul rol gerçekçiliği kavramı genç kadınların bu konuda bilgi sahibi olarak bir planlamaya yönelmelerini önermektedir. Danışmanlar tüm bu dinamiklere duyarlı olmalıdır.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractThis study is intended to define two new concepts that is related to the process of career choice of women: Personal agency and multiple role realism. The career development of women is influenced by cultural values since their early childhood. Higly agentic women who are assertive, autonomous, dominant and trying to be successive are highly careeroriented, but they will have difficulties between their career and family lives. Multiple role realism proposes a multiple role planning to young women by giving information and motivation for the purpose of having an equilibrium between career and family lives. Coun-selors must be sensitive to these issues.en_US
