| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışma, Sultansuyu Tarım İşletmesi koşullarında yetiştirilen safkan Arap atlan ve tayların 1990-1995 yıllarına ait bazı verim özellilerinin düzeylerinin saptanması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Aygır altı kısrak sayışma göre östrus, gebelik, kısırlık, doğum ve yavru atma oranlan sırasıyla, %95.10, %69.23, %30.77, %67.37 ve %1.86 bulunmuştur. Gebelik basma siklus ve tohumlama sayılan sırasıyla 1.24 + 0.03 ve 3.41 +_0.11 saptanmıştır. Düzeltilmiş gebelik süresi 333.8 ± 0.04 gün saptanmış, gebelik süresine yılların etkisi önemli (P<0.05), yaşm etkisi önemsiz bulunmuştur. Tayların 3., 6. ve 12. aylığa kadar yaşama güçleri sırasıyla, % 91.7, % 90.7 ve % 89.7 belirlenmiştir. Doğumdan 12. aya kadar erkek taylarda yaşama gücü % 88.3, dişilerde ise % 90.9 düzeyinde saptanmıştır. Kısraklarda 12-60 aylık yaşta cidago yüksekliği, ön incik çevresi, göğüs çevresi, göğüs genişliği, beden uzunluğu ve sağn yüksekliği sırasıyla 151.0 +.0.55, 19.2 + 0.08, 165.2 + 0.62, 37.2 + 0.16, 139.2 + 0.81 ve 142.3 + 0.23 cm hesaplanmış, yaş grupları arasındaki farklar istatistiki önemde bulunmuştur (PO.05-PO.001). Arap taylarda 12-24 ay ve 24-36 aylık yaştaki erkek ve dişilerin cidago yüksekliği, ön incik çevresi, göğüs çevresi, göğüs genişliği, beden uzunluğu ve sağn yüksekliği yönünden beden ölçülerinin incelenmesi sonucunda erkeklerin genelde dişilerden daha yüksek ölçülere sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir(PO.05-0.001). Sonuç olarak Sultansuyu Tarım İşletmesinde yetiştirilen safkan Arap atlarının verim düzeylerinin iyi olduğu kanısına varılmıştır. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | The current study was undertaken to investigate some production traits of purebred Arabian Horses and their foals being bred in Sultansuyu State Farm between 1990-1995. Ratios of oestrus,pregnancy, sterility, parturition and abortion were found to be 95.10%, 69.23%, 30.77%, 67.37% and 1.86% respectively. Number of oestrus cycle and insemination per pregnancy were 1.24 + 0.03 and 3.41 + 0.11 respectively. Adjusted gestation length was 333.8 + 0.04 days. Effect of years on the gestation length was found to be statistically significant (P < 0.05). However, effect of age was insignificant. Viability of foals ageing 3, 6 and 12 months were determined as 91.7%, 90.7% and 89.7% respectively. Viability of male foals from birth until 12 months of age was 88.3%, whereas those of females were 90.9%. Height at withers, circumference of front shank, chest girth, chest width, body length and height at rump of mares ageing 12-60 months were found as 151.0 + 0.55 cm, 19.2 + 0.08 cm, 165.2 + 0.62 cm., 37.2 + 0.16 cm., 139.2 + 0.81 cm. and 142.3 ± 0.23 cm respectively. The differences among age groups were determined as statistically significant (P<0.05-P< 0.001). After measuring the height at withers, circumference of front shank, chest girth, chest width, body length and height at rump of male and female foals ageing 12-24 months and 24-36 months, it was found that males generally have greater body measures than females (P< 0.05 -P< 0.001).At the end of this study, it was concluded that growth performance and productivity rate of purebred Arabian Horses being bred in Sultansuyu State Farm were good. | en_US |
