Abstract
Bu çalışma, Uludağ Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Çiftliği koşullarında yetiştirilen Holstein ineklerin, bazı döl verim özellikleri düzeylerinin belirlenmesi ve bu özelliklere etki eden çevre faktörlerinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, Holstein ineklerin 1988-1996 yılları arasında servis periyodu, bir gebelik için tohumlama sayısı, buzağılama aralığı ve gebelik süresi minimum kareler ortalamaları sırasıyla 118.1 gün, 2.03 tohumlama, 399.9 gün ve 275.9 gün saptanmıştır. Yılların servis periyodu ve gebelik süresine etkisi istatistiki düzeyde önemli bulunmuştur (P<0.001 ve P<0.05). Buzağılama sırası ve mevsimlerin döl verimi özelliklerine etkileri istatistiki düzeyde önemli bulunmamıştır. En düşük döl verimi performansı yazın buzağılayan ineklerde, en yüksek döl verimi performansı 3. buzağısını veren ineklerde saptanmıştır.
This study was done to investigate the levels of some reproductive characteristics of Holstein cows raised under the condition of the Uludağ University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Farm.In this study, least square means of service period, service number for per conception, calving interval and gestation length were determined as 118.1, 2.03, 399.9 days, and 275.9 days respectively between the years of 1988 and 1996. The effect of years on service period and gestation length was found statistically important (P<0.001 and P< 0.05). lt was found that calving number and calving season had no effect on reproductive characteristics statistically. It was determined that cows giving a birth in the summer had the lowest reproductive performance and cows giving the third birth had the highest reproductive performance.
