dc.description.abstract | Environmental economics plays a key role in identifying options for efficient natural resource management that facilitate sustainable development. Thus, environmental issues has been a rather important topic and given priority in public agenda of both developed and developing worlds, in recent decades. A number of developing country, at the beginning stage of development have focused on industry at the expense of agriculture, in spite of agriculture was a main source sector of their economies. When the environment has emerged as a major world-wide concern, natural resource degradation is becoming a serious impediment to economic development and the alleviation of poverty in the developing world. Therefore in a number of country both developed and developing, make case studies, which cover a wide range of environments impacts and valuation concept and techniques. Because these type of studies (environmental cost-benefit analysis) play a key role in identifying options for efficient natural resource management that facilitate environment friendly development. | en_US |
