Abstract
Bursa'da kadına yönelik şiddet açısından yapılan bu ilk çalışmada olguların sosyoekonomik, sosyokültürel ve demografik özellikleri ile şiddetin Adli Tıbbi açıdan boyutunun da ortaya konarak yorumlanması amaçlanmıştır.Adli Tıp Kurumu Bursa Grup Başkanlığı Adli Tıp Şube Müdürlüğüne aile içi şiddete maruz kalarak müracaat eden 270 olgu anket çalışmasına katılmıştır. Kadınların (31,53±8,603 yıl) erkeklerden (35,76±8,835 yıl) daha genç oldukları göze çarpmıştır. Kadın (%49,3) ve erkeklerde (%46,7) en büyük grubu ilkokul mezunları oluşturmaktadır. Aile geliri sadece %36'sında asgari ücretin üzerindedir. Düzenli geliri bulunmayan aile (p=0.004), ilkokul mezunu eş varlığı (p=0.002) her gün şiddet uygulanma oranını arttırmaktadır. Okuryazar olmayan kadınlara değişik araçlar ile şiddet uygulanması (p=0.002), ilkokul mezunu eşlerin kadınlara tedavi gerektirecek düzeyde şiddet uygulaması (p<0.001) diğer gruplara göre yüksek bulunmuştur. Evlilik süreleri 1 yıldan az olan kadınlar fiziksel şiddete maruz kalma nedeni olarak aile etkisini (%30,8, p=0.008), 1 yıldan fazla olanlar ise eşlerinin kötü alışkanlıklarını (%33,2, p=0.014) görmektedir. Kadınların %40'ı ilk şiddet sonrası eşlerine tepki göstermemiştir. Eşleri üniversite mezunu olan kadınların tepki vermeme nedeni olarak çocuklarını göstermeleri anlamlı bulunmuştur (p=0.005). Tanışıp anlaşarak evlenmiş olan kadınların evi terk etme oranları düşük bulunmuştur (%52,4, p=0.019). Tedavi gerektirecek fiziksel bir şiddete maruz kalan kadınların çoğunluğunun çocuk sahibi olması anlamlıdır (p=0.026). Kadınların %62,6'sı istemediği halde cinsel ilişkiye zorladığını bildirmiştir. Kadınların tamamı ilk yıl içinde adli makamlara başvurmamıştır (p=0.001).Sonuç olarak; çalışmamızda Bursa'da kadına yönelik şiddetin adli tıbba yansıyan boyutuyla ilk veriler sunulmuş olup bu konunun epidemiyolojik, sosyolojik, psikolojik, psikiyatrik ve kriminolojik boyutlarıyla da ele alınarak aile içi şiddete müdahale geliştirmek için gerekli ileri çalışmaların yapılması gerekmektedir.
In this preliminary study performed on violence against women in Bursa was aimed to investigate and discuss the socioeconomic, sociocultural and demographic features of the cases and medico legal aspects of the violence.Two hundred seventy cases exposed to domestic violence attended to Bursa branch of the Council of Forensic Medicine of Turkey were included in the questionnaire. Women (31.53±8.603 years) were more likely to be young than men (35.76±8.835 years). The major groups for women (49.3%) and men (46.7%) were the primary school graduates. Only 36% of the families' income was over the minimum wage. Family without regular incomes (p=0.004), primary school graduate spouse (p=0.002) were increasing every day violent act risks. Use of a weapon in violence against illiterate women (p=0.002), traumatic violent acts of the primary school graduate men requiring health care (p<0.001) were detected higher in comparison with other groups. Women with martial status less than 1 year accept family effect (30.8%, p=0.008), those more than 1 year marriage accept their partners improper and abusive behaviours (33.2%, p=0.014) as reason for physical violence. 40% of the women reacted after first violent act. It was found significant that women?s whom husbands were high school graduates pointed their children as a reason for non reactive attitude (p=0.005). Women who married after an acquaintance period had low rates of home leaving (52.4%, p=0.019). It was detected significant that the majority of the women with health care requiring traumatic physical violent acts had children (p=0.026). 62.6% of the women reported that they were forced for sex. None of the women attended legal institutions during first year (p=0.001).In conclusion; we presented medico legal aspects of preliminary data on violence against women in Bursa, besides further studies on the epidemiological, sociological, psychological, psychiatric and criminal extents of the topic must be evaluated for domestic violence intervention program.
