Abstract
This research was to estimate the phenotypic colllations between body measurements and slaughter rand careass measurements in male bulfalo calves. The experiment material consisted at eighteen male bulfa lo calves at about 8 months of ages. The period of fattening was 197 days. The averages at the start and final live eights were 134 ± 6.50 kg. and 312 ± 9.08 kg. respectively. The average daily gain was 906 ± 22.00 g. The average careass weight and dressing percentage were 166 ± 5.57 kg. and 53 % respectively. The phenotypic collelations between live weight and body measu rements usually changed from 0.89 to 0.94 for different feeding periods. The highest phenotypic canefation value was 0.99 for between final weight and careass weight. The lowest phenotypic collelation value was 0.21 for between wither height of 180 th days and dressing per centage. All phenotypic conelations were usually fowıd significant ( less than 0.001 level).
