Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, son yirmi yılda Türkiye’de ve Dünya’da okuma becerileri üzerine yapılan bilimsel araştırmaların bibliyometrik analizinin yapılarak okuma becerileri alanının genel profilinin ve yapısının belirlenmesi, elde edilen verilerin karşılaştırmalı olarak analiz edilmesidir. Araştırmada bibliyometrik analiz aracılığıyla betimsel bir araştırma modeli olan genel tarama modeli benimsenmiştir. Araştırmada 2001-2020 yılları arasında okuma becerileri alanındaki son yirmi yılı kapsayan dönem için Web of Science (WoS) veri tabanından “reading skills”, Google Akademik (Google Scholar) veri tabanından “okuma becerileri” anahtar kelimeleri ile arama yapılmıştır. WoS veri tabanında “reading skills” araması sonucunda 127 makale, Google Akademik veri tabanında ise “okuma becerileri” araması sonucunda 46 makaleye ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler bibliyometrik analiz yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Google Akademik veri tabanından HPoP8 bibliyometrik aracı ile elde edilen veriler Microsoft Excel programı aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Atıf, yıl başına düşen ortalama atıf sayısı, makalenin adı, yılı, yazar/lar, kurum, dergi ve anahtar kelime bilgileri gibi ögelerin analizleri yapılmış ve tablolaştırılarak sunulmuştur. Bibliyometrik analizin; performans analiziile bilimsel ögelerin (çalışma, yazar, kurum, ülke, dergi) yayın ve atıf performansları değerlendirilerek alanın genel görünümü sunulmuş ve bu ögelerin alanda ne kadar etkili olduğunu görmek için atıf analizi yapılmıştır. Bilimsel alan haritalama ile araştırma alanının sosyal yapısı ortak yazar analizi ile kavramsal yapısı ortak kelime analizi ile entelektüel yapısı ortak atıf ve bibliyografik eşleştirme analizi ile ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Bilimsel alan haritalama ile bilimsel ögeler arasındaki ilişki ve iş birliği ağları analiz edilip görselleştirilmiş ve alanın haritası ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Bilimsel Haritalama için WoS veri tabanından elde edilen veriler VOSviewer yazılım programı ile analiz edilmiştir ve görselleştirme işlemleri yapılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları bütün olarak değerlendirildiğinde sunulan bibliyografik verilerle alanın genel görünümü ve alandaki etkili olan makale, yazar, dergi, kurum, ülke belirlenmiştir. Ögeler arasındaki iş birliği ağları, makalelerin atıflarındaki ilişki ağları ortaya çıkarılmış ve alanda daha çok tercih edilen anahtar kelimeler saptanmıştır. Yapılan tespitler ve değerlendirmeler doğrultusunda elde edilen bulguların, verilen tablo, şekil ve görsellerin, ögeler arasındaki bağlantıların, atıf listelerinde yer alan isim ve çalışmaların, okuma becerileri alanındaki güncel eğilimler ve alan yazınla ilgili yeni ve özgün çalışmalara temel oluşturabileceği düşünülmektedir. Bu araştırmanın alanda çalışma yapmak isteyen araştırmacılara alanın kavramsal yapısı, sosyal yapısı ve entelektüel yapısı hakkında bilgi vereceği, ülkemizde ve dünyada yapılan çalışmalarla ilgili yol göstereceği düşünülmektedir.
The aim of this research is to determine the general profile and structure of the field of reading skills by conducting a bibliometric analysis of scientific researchs on reading skills in Turkey and in the world in the last twenty years, and to analyze the obtained data comparatively. In the research, searches were made with the keywords "reading skills" on the Web of Science (WoS) database and "okuma becerileri” on the Google Scholar database for the period covering the last twenty years between 2001 and 2020 in the field of reading skills. As a result of the search for "reading skills" in the WoS database, 127 articles were found, and as a result of the search for "okuma becerileri" in the Google Scholar database, 46 articles were found. The data obtained was analyzed by bibliometric analysis method. The data obtained from the Google Scholar database with the HPoP8 bibliometric tool was analyzed through the Microsoft Excel program. Elements such as citation, average number of citations per year, name and year of the article, author/s, institution, journal and keyword information were analyzed and presented in tables. With the performance analysis of bibliometric analysis; the general view of the field is presented by evaluating the publication and citation performances of scientific elements (study, author, institution, country, journal) and citation analysis is performed to see how effective these elements are in the field. With scientific field mapping, the social structure of the research area was revealed by co-author analysis, its conceptual structure was revealed by common word analysis, and its intellectual structure was revealed by co-citation and bibliographic matching analysis.. With scientific field mapping, the relationships and collaboration networks between scientific elements were analyzed and visualized and a map of the field was created. For Scientific Mapping, data obtained from the WoS database were analyzed and visualized with the VOSviewer software program. When the analysis results are evaluated as a whole, the general view of the field and the articles, authors, journals, institutions and countries that are influential in the field are determined with the bibliographic data presented. Collaboration networks between elements, relationship networks in the citations of articles were revealed, and more preferred keywords in the field were determined. It is thought that the findings obtained in line with the determinations and evaluations made, the tables, figures and visuals given, the connections between the elements, the names and studies in the citation lists can form the basis for new and original studies on current trends and literature in the field of reading skills. It is thought that this research will provide information about the conceptual structure, social structure and intellectual structure of the field to researchers who want to work in the field, andwill guide them regarding the studies carried out in our country and around the world.
