Abstract
Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi öğrencilerine bir anket uygulanarak tıp eğitiminin sosyal yanı hakkındaki görüşleri araştırıldı. Öğrencilerin lise ve üniversite eğitim dönemlerinin sorgulanması amaçlandı. Tıp fakültesini tercih öncelikleri, güncel yaşamdaki sosyal aktivitelere katılımları, öğretim üyeleriyle ilişkileri ile kütüphaneden ve bilgisayardan yararlanma alışkanlıkları incelendi. Öğrencilerin tıp eğitimi sırasında sosyal etkinliklere fazla katılmadıkları, öğretim üyeleri ile yeterli düzeyde ilişki kuramadıkları görüldü. Kütüphaneyi genellikle ders çalışma yeri olarak kabul ettikleri ve % 14, 7 öğrencinin kişisel bilgisayar sahibi olduğu saptandı.
By applying a questionnaire Uludag University Medical students' opinions on the social aspects of medical education were investigated. It was aimed to obtain some information about their educational periods passed in the high school and the university. Their preferences about medical faculty, participation of them to the social activities in daily life, and the relations of them with the academic personnel were investigated. Their habituations about visiting libraries and using computers were also asked. It was shown that the students were not effective in social life during their educational periods. They had not set good relations with their staff. Libraries were usually the places for studying daily works for them. It was found that only 14, 7 % of them had a personal computer.
