Depresif bozukluk tanısı almış olan 12-18 yaş arası çocuk ve ergenlerde serum beyin kaynaklı nörotrofik faktör seviyelerinin incelenmesi

| dc.description.abstract | Nöroplastik sürecin depresif bozukluğun da içinde bulunduğu pek çok psikiyatrik hastalığın patofizyolojisi ile ilişkili olduğu düşünülmektedir. Depresif bozuklukta nöroplastisitede beyin kaynaklı nörotrofik faktörün (brain derived neurotrophic factor=BDNF) önemli bir faktör olduğu öne sürülmektedir. Bu çalışmada 12-18 yaş arası depresif bozukluğu bulunan çocuk ve ergenlerin serumlarında BDNF seviyelerinin incelemesi amaçlanmıştır. Depresif bozukluğu bulunan hasta grubu ile sağlıklı kontrol grubu arasında BDNF, insülin benzeri büyüme faktörü (Insulin like growth factor-1=IGF-1) ve büyüme hormonu (Growth hormon=GH) seviyeleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Ayrıca hemogram, rutin biyokimya, tiroit ve seks hormonları çalışılmıştır. Deneklere sosyodemografik form, Kovaks depresyon ölçeği, anlık ve süreklilik anksiyetesi ölçekleri uygulanmıştır.35 denek (26 kız; 9 erkek) hasta grubunu, 22 denek (14 kız;8 erkek) kontrol grubunu oluşturmuştur. Hasta grubunun yaş ortalaması 189,46±24,93 ay (15 yaş 3 ay) ve kontrol grubunun yaş ortalaması 179,81±18,03 ay (14 yaş 11,8 ay) olarak bulunmuştur. Çalışma sonucunda hasta ve kontrol grupları arasında BDNF, GH ve IGF-1 seviyelerinde anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır (sırasıyla p değerleri 0,547; 0,646 ve 0,968). Gruplar kız-erkek olarak alt gruplara ayrılarak parametreler karşılaştırıldığında yine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir sonuç bulunmamıştır. Ayrıca bu çalışmada yaşın, cinsiyetin, menstrüel durumun, intihar girişiminin, gelecekteki intihar düşüncesinin, sigara içmenin ve vücut kitle indeksi gibi faktörlerin GH ve BDNF seviyeleri üzerine etkileri saptanmamıştır. Yaş dışında diğer parametrelerin IGF-1 seviyeleri üzerine etkileri de saptanmamıştır. Yalnızca tüm denekler içinde, hasta erkek grubunda ve hastalar 144-180 ay (12-15 yaş) ve 181-216 ay (15-18 yaş) alt gruplara ayrıldığında yaş ile IGF-1 arasında ters ilişki saptanmıştır. Fakat bu faktörlerin etkilerini daha iyi değerlendirebilmek için geniş örneklemli çalışmalar yapılmalıdır. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | It has been suggested that neuroplastic process was associated with the pathogenesis of psychiatric disorders including depressive disorder. It is thought that brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) is an important factor in neuroplasticity in the depresssive disorder. In this study we aimed to evaluate serum BDNF levels in children and adolescents between 12-18 years with depressive disorder. The serum BDNF, Insuline-like growth factor (IGF-1) and growth hormon (GH) levels were compared between the depressive disorder patient group and the healthy control group. Moreover complete blood count, biochemical tests, thyroid and sex hormones were tested. In addition sociodemografic form, Kovaks depression scale, state-trait anxiety inventory were applied to all subjects.The patient group was composed of 35 subjects (26 female; 9 male), while the control group was composed of 22 subjects (14 female; 8 male). The mean age of patient group and control group was found 189,46±24,93 and 179,81±18,03 months respectively. There was no significant difference between the patient group and the control group among the BDNF, GH and IGF-1 levels (respectively p values 0,547; 0,646 and 0,968 ). When the groups divided into female and male subgroups, statistically significant differences were not found again. Moreover age, gender, menstrual states, suicide attempts, suicide thoughts, smoking and Body Mass Index had no effects on the BDNF and GH levels. There was also no effects on IGF-1 levels, except age. There was negative correlation between age and IGF-1 in all subjects, in male patient group and the age group subdivided as 144-180 and 181-216 months. But larger prospective studies are needed to show better the effects of these factors. | en_US |
