Bertrand Russell’ın Aristoteles’in mantığına yönelttiği eleştiriler ve bir değerlendirme

Abstract

Bu çalışmada yapılmak istenen Bertrand Russell’ın, Aristoteles’in ve onun takipçilerinin geliştirdiği mantık üzerine eleştirilerini açıklamaktır. Bu eleştirileri açıklarken de Aristoteles mantığının ana hatlarıyla ortaya konulması en temel gayedir. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın ilk bölümü Aristoteles mantığını içermektedir, ikinci bölüm ise Russell’ın Aristoteles’in mantığına yönelttiği eleştirilerden oluşmaktadır. Üçüncü bölüm de Aristoteles ve Russell’ın tümdengelim ve tümevarım üzerine düşüncelerini ve bu doğrultuda Russell’ın bu konuya dair eleştirilerini içermektedir. Sonuç bölümü, Russell’ın eleştirilerine dair bir değerlen dirme doğrultusunda, bu iki mantıkçının mantık üzerine çalışmalarına yönelik genel bir yorum içermektedir.The aim of this study is to explain the criticisms of Bertrand Russell on the logic that was developed by Aristotle and his followers. While explaining these criticisms, putting forward outline of Aristotle logic is the main purpose. In this direction, the first part of the study includes the logic of Aristotle, while the second part consists of the criticisms of Russell about Aristotle's logic. The third chapter includes Aristotle's and Russell's thoughts on deduction and induction, and Russell's critique on this subject. The conclusion part, section provides an overview of Russell's critiques of the work of these two logicians on logic.
