Abstract

Travma, enfeksiyon, paralitik hastalıklar ve doğumsal anomaliler sonucu femur büyüme kıkırdaklarının fonksiyonunun durması alt ekstremite kısalıklarına neden olur. Yalnızca femurdan kaynaklanan alt ekstremite kısalıkları boy farkının dört-beş cm 'yi geçmediği durumlarda transiliak osteotomi ile tedavisi mümkündür. Aynı zamanda bu yöntemle eğer varsa asetabuler hipoplazi de ortadan kaldırılabilir.
