Okul öncesi altı yaş çocukları için oluşturulan şarkı dağarcığının müziksel gelişim düzeylerine etkisi

Abstract

Yaratıcılığı esas alan ve bir ses sanatı olan müziğin; okul öncesi dönemde öğretim yöntemi olarak çok çeşitli biçimlerde kullanılabileceği düşünülmektedir. Ancak ağırlıklı olarak ses eğitimi ve çalgı eğitimini içine alan öğretim yöntemlerine etkili bir biçimde yer verilmediği ve buna uygun bir dağarcığın oluşturulmadığı görülmektedir. Bu nedenle okul öncesi ana sınıfı öğrencileri için Okul Öncesi Programı gereklerine uygun çocuk şarkıları dağarcığı oluşturmak, okul öncesi düzeyde müzik eğitimi veren öğretmenlerin daha etkili ve verimli çalışmalar yapmasına katkı sağlamak bu araştırmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Bursa ili merkez ilçelerinde ilköğretim okulu bünyesinde ya da bağımsız olarak faaliyetini sürdürmekte olan Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında görev alan okul öncesi öğretmenlerine anket uygulanarak görüşleri alınmıştır. Ayrıca araştırmacı tarafından şarkı dağarcığı oluşturulmuş, deney ve kontrol grupları belirlenerek deney grubu ile 12 hafta çalışılmıştır. Uygulama öncesi ve sonrasında deney ve kontrol grubuna araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan müziksel beceri ölçme aracı kullanılarak ön test ve son test uygulaması yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın genel amacı ve ana problemi çerçevesinde toplanan verilerin istatistiksel çözümleri için SPSS 13.0 paket programından yararlanılmıştır.Bulgular okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin müzik etkinliklerini uygulama yeterlikleri konusunda olumsuz görüş taşıdıklarını ortaya koymaktadır. Ayrıca, kullanılan şarkı dağarcığının yetersiz olduğu ve çağdaş müzik öğretim yöntemlerini uygulama konusunda da kendilerini yeterli görmedikleri yönünde görüş bildirmişlerdir. Bunun yanında araştırma sonuçlarından elde edilen verilere göre, araştırmacının hazırlayıp uyguladığı şarkı dağarcığı ile gerçekleştirilen müzik eğitimi etkinliklerinin; 6 yaş grubu çocukların müziksel gelişim düzeyleri üzerinde olumlu etki yarattığı görülmüştür.

It is considered that music which is based on creativity and is an art of sound can be used in various ways as a teaching method in preschool. However, it is observed that efficient use is not made of teaching methods including mainly voice training and instrument training, and that an appropriate repertoire is not formed. Therefore, forming a nursery rhymes repertoire for pre-school children, which is appropriate for the necessities of the Early Childhood Education Program. Also, the aim of this research is to help music teachers at pre-school level carry out more efficient and productive work. Towards this aim, a survey has been carried out and the opinions of preschool teachers who work in primary schools in the districts of Bursa or who work in independent preschool institutions connected to the Ministry of Education have been taken. Also, a song repertoire has been formed by the researcher, experimental and control groups have been specified and work has been done with the experimental group for 12 weeks. A pre test and a final test has been applied to the experimental and control groups before and after practice with the use of a musical skills measuring device prepared by the researcher. It has been benefited from the SPSS 13.0 packet program for the statistical solutions of the data gathered as part of the main aim of the research and main problem.The findings put forth the negative opinions preschool teachers have about the competencies in the practice of music activities. Furthermore, they have given the opinion that the song repertoire being used is inadequate, and that they do not see themselves proficient in the application of contemporary music teaching methods. Besides this, according to the data gained from the research results, it has been observed that the activities performed in music education with the song repertoire prepared and applied by the researcher have created a positive effect on the musical development of 6 year old children.
