dc.description.abstractBu çalışma John Rawls’un siyasal liberalizmi içerisinde ortaya çıkan hoşgörü anlayışının bir analizini ve çağdaş çoğulcu demokrasiler açısından önemini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu doğrultuda bu yazıda, öncelikle hoşgörünün kavramsal analizlerinde ortaya çıkan bazı önemli görüşler ve hoşgörünün liberal düşünce geleneği içerisindeki yeri incelenmektedir. Ardından, siyasal liberalizminin özellikle muhakeme zorlukları, makullük ve siyasal adalet gibi temel kavramlarına odaklanarak, siyasal liberal hoşgörü düşüncesi tartışılmaktadır.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to provide an analysis of tolerance based on John Rawls’s political liberalism and its importance for contemporary pluralistic democracies. In this sense, it first explores some important ideas developed within some conceptual analyses of tolerance and examines the place of tolerance in the liberal tradition. Then, focusing specifically on some fundamental concepts of political liberalism such as burdens of judgment, reasonableness, and political justice, the study discusses the idea of politically liberal tolerance.en_US
