| dc.description.abstract | Adrenal bezler yaşamın sürdürülebilmesi için gerekli, karmaşık ve çok fonksiyonlu endokrin organlardır. Adrenal bezler iki fonksiyonel bölümden meydana gelir, dışta korteks içte ise medulla yer alır. Her iki kısım da çevresel etkilere hayvanın uyum sağlamasında çok önemli role sahiptir. Çeşitli stres faktörleri hayvanların verim durumunu etkiler. Akut streslere cevap olarak hayvanlarda kortizol salınımı artar. Plazma kortizol seviyeleri hayvanların nakliyesinde, operasyonlarda, ateş, enfeksiyon, psikoz, uzun süreli ve ağır egzersizlerde, hipoglisemi ve esaret durumlarında artar. Bu stres faktörleri hayvanlarda homeostazisin ve metabolizmanın değişmesine yol açar. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | The adrenal glands are complex, multifunctional endocrine organs, which are essential for life. Each adrenal gland is really a combination of two seperate functional entities the outer cortex and the inner medulla. Both parts of the gland appear to be important in the adaptation of the animal to adverse environmental influences. Various stressors effect reproduction in animals. Increased cortisol is released in response to a variety of acute stressors in animals. Plasma cortisol levels are increased by the stress of transport, surgery, fever, infection, psychosis, prolonged and streneous exercise, hypoglysemia, and captivity. These stresses give rise to alteration in the process of homeostasis and metabolism. | en_US |
