Abstract
Bu çalışma, Kosova'daki din eğitiminin kapsamlı bir incelemesini sunmakta ve bu eğitimin Osmanlı İmparatorluğu döneminden çağdaş manzaraya kadar olan evriminin izini sürmektedir. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu döneminde cami ve medreselerdeki dini eğitim uygulamalarının detaylı bir incelemesini sunarak bölgedeki İslami eğitimin tarihi temellerine ışık tutuyor. Ayrıca bu çalışma, Kosova'daki medreselerin zengin tarihini inceleyerek, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun etkisi öncesinde ve sonrasında meydana gelen dönüşümleri aydınlatmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın odak noktası, müfredatı ve akademik kadrosu hakkında kapsamlı bir genel bakış sağlayan Alâuddin Medresesi'dir. Alâuddin Medresesi'nin 21 mezunuyla yapılan derinlemesine görüşmeler merceğinden yapılan çalışmada, bu saygın kurumda eğitimini tamamlayan bireylerin deneyim ve duyguları incelenmektedir. Medrese eğitiminin mezunlarının duyguları, algıları ve istekleri üzerindeki derin etkisini anlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma metodolojisi olarak zengin nitel veriler üreten beş ana sorudan oluşan yapılandırılmış bir dizi kullanılmıştır. Bu görüşmeler sayesinde farklı bakış açıları ve medrese eğitiminin dönüştürücü rolü ortaya çıkmıştır. Mezunlar, gurur ve mutluluktan, topluluklarına ve inançlarına karşı artan sorumluluk duygusuna kadar uzanan derin duyguları ifade etmektedirler. Bu bulgular, medrese eğitiminin dini kimlikle derin bir bağ kurma ve topluma hizmet etme konusunda sarsılmaz bir bağlılığı teşvik etme konusundaki kalıcı öneminin altını çizmektedir. Bu çalışma, medrese eğitiminin tarihsel temellerine ve çağdaş sonuçlarına dair içgörüler sunarak, Kosova'daki din eğitimi üzerine daha geniş söylemlere katkıda bulunmaktadır. Din eğitiminin çok yönlü boyutlarını ve bunun Kosova'daki bireyler ve topluluklar üzerindeki derin etkisini anlamaya çalışan akademisyenler, eğitimciler ve politika yapıcılar için değerli bir kaynak olarak hizmet vermektedir.
This paper presents a comprehensive exploration of religious education in Kosovo, tracing its evolution from the era of the Ottoman Empire to the contemporary landscape. It offers a detailed examination of religious education practices within mosques and madrasas during the Ottoman Empire, shedding light on the historical foundations of Islamic education in the region. Furthermore, this study delves into the rich history of madrasas in Kosovo, elucidating the transformations that occurred before and after the Ottoman Empire's influence. A focal point of this research is the Alâuddin Madrasa, where it provides a thorough overview of its curriculum and academic faculty. Through the lens of in-depth interviews with 21 graduates of Alâuddin Madrasa, the study delves into the experiences and sentiments of individuals who have completed their education at this esteemed institution. It seeks to understand the profound impact of Madrasa education on the emotions, perceptions, and aspirations of its graduates. The research methodology employs a structured set of five main questions, which generated rich qualitative data. Through these interviews, a diverse spectrum of perspectives emerged, revealing the transformative role of Madrasa education. Graduates express profound emotions ranging from pride and happiness to a heightened sense of responsibility towards their communities and faith. These findings underscore the enduring relevance of Madrasa education in fostering a deep connection to religious identity and an unwavering commitment to serving society. This study contributes to the broader discourse on religious education in Kosovo, offering insights into the historical underpinnings and contemporary implications of Madrasa education. It serves as a valuable resource for scholars, educators, and policymakers seeking to understand the multifaceted dimensions of religious education and its profound impact on individuals and communities in Kosovo.
