Abstract
Bu çalışma farklı karma yem formlarının Karayaka kuzuların besi performansı, rumen pH'sı ile kesim ve karkas özellikleri üzerine etkisini araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Kırk sekiz gün sürdürülen araştırma, her biri 15 'er kuzudan oluşan 3 grup üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Gruplar 1., 2. ve 3. grup şeklinde isimlendirilmiş ve besi dönemi boyunca sırasıyla toz karma yem + yonca kuru otu, öğütülmemiş karma yem + yonca kuru otu ve sadece öğütülmemiş karma yem ile beslenmişlerdir. Araştırmada 1., 2. ve 3. gruplarda, deneme sonu ortalama günlük canlı ağırlık artışları sırasıyla 247, 251 ve 213 g, yemden yararlanma oranları 7. 214, 7. 326 ve 7. 755 ve rumen pH değerleri 5.98, 6.19 ve 6.11 olarak saptanmıştır. Besi performansları bakımından gruplar arasındaki farklılıklar önemli bulunmamıştır. Grupların kesim ve karkas özellikleri birbirine benzer olmuştur. Sonuç olarak, karma yem formunun konsantre yemlere dayalı olarak beslenen kuzuların besi performansı ile kesim ve karkas özelliklerini etkilemeyeceği kanısına varılmıştır.
The study was conducted to investigate effects of different forms of compound feed on the fattening performance, rumen pH, slaughter and carcass characteristics of Karaya ka lambs. The experiment, lasted 48 days, was conducted on three groups each has contained 15 lambs. The groups named 1, 2 and 3 were fed on ground compound feed + alfalfa hay, ungrounded compound feed + alfalfa hay and only ungrounded compound feed during fattening period respectively. In this experiment, at the end of the experiment, average daily live weight gains were 247, 251 and 213 g, feed efficiencies were 7. 214, 7. 326 and 7. 755, rumen pH values were 5.98, 6.19 and 6.11 for the groups 1, 2 and 3 respectively. There were not significant differences among the groups for fattening performances. The slaughter and carcass characteristics of the groups were similarly. As a result, it was expected that the compound feed forms may no affect the fattening performance, slaughter and carcass characteristics of lambs fed based on concentrate feeds.
