Abstract
1960’lı yıllardan itibaren yaşam koçluğu ve kişisel gelişim adı altında Türkiye’de etkili olmaya başlayan ve “spiritüel süpermarket, kendin yap dini ve seküler kutsallıklar” olarak ifade edilen Yeni Çağ İnanışları, sekülerizmle etkisini yitiren tabiatüstünün, modernizmin söylemleriyle tekrar topluma dönüşünü sağlamıştır. Yeni Çağ Hareketi’nin bir parçası olarak kabul ettiğimiz ruhsal şifacılar, uyguladıkları tekniklerle insanlara sadece kaliteli ve sağlıklı bir yaşam sunduklarını vurgulasalar da onların, söz ve pratiklerindeinsanlara, Yeni Çağ Hareketi’ne ait öğretilerinempoze edildiği görülmektedir. Ayrıca şifa kavramı gibi dini terminolojiye ait pek çok kavramıuyguladıkları teknikte kullanarakmuhafazakâr kesimi; kadim öğretilerin modern yorumları ile de seküler kesimi cezp ettikleri ve içlerine çektikleri görülmektedir. Son olarakYeni Çağ İnanışları, Türkiye de içinde olmak üzere dünya genelinde çok büyük bir dini pazar oluşturmaktadır. Her kesime hitap edecek dini paketleri burada bulmak, modern bireylere cazip gelmektedir. Çalışmamızda, modernleşme sürecine ve çağdaş bilim anlayışına zıt karakterdeki ruhsal şifacılığın toplumda nasıl yaygınlık kazandığına, bireylerin bu harekete ilgi duyma sebeplerine ve ilgi duyanların demografik özelliklerine; bireylerde yeniden inşa ettiği karakteristik yapı ve bu yapının topluma yansıyan yüzünün ne olduğu ile ilgili tüm meselelere açıklık getirilmiştir.
Since the 1960s, living under the name of coaching and personal development started to be influential in Turkey and "spiritual supermarket, do-it-yourself religious and secular holiness are" as named the New Age Beliefs, secularism is the effect that has losen and supernatural has provided to the return back to society with modernism discourse. Although the spiritual healers, that we have accepted as part of the New Age Movement, has been emphasized that they only serve a quality and healthy life to people with thete chniques they have applied, it is seen that the teachings of the New Age Movement have imposed on people in their Words and practices. In addition, the conservative group have many religious terminology concepts such as the concept of healing, using the technique they have applied, it has been seen that with the modern interpretations of the ancient teachings, they have attractedand absorbed the secularsection. Finally, New Age Beliefs, including Turkey also the World wide, is a huge market of religious constitutes. Finding religious packages that appeals to every segment is attractive to modern individuals. Inourstudy, how the spiritual healing that has a character opposite to the modernization process and the understanding of contemporary science has become widespread in the society, the reasons of the interest of individuals to this movement and the demographic characteristics of those interested, it has been clarified all the issues related to the characteristic structure reconstructed in individuals and what this structure reflects to society.
