dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada toxoplasmosis ve malaria tedavisinde kullanılan ve bir folik asit antagonisti olan pyrinıetlıamine'in (Daraprim) insan kromozomlarının spiralizasyon oluşumuna etkisi araştırıldı. Bu amaçla 17 sağlıklı kişinin periferik kan lenfosit kültürlerine pyrimethamine 0.05, 0.1, 0.2 ve 0.4 mg/ml olmak üzere 4 farklı dozda ilave edildi. Yapılan sitogenetik değerlendirme sonucu pyrimethamine ın doz artışına paralel olarak spiral oluşumunu engellemek suretiyle kromozom kondensasyonu önlediği ve buna ilaveten uzun kromozon sayısını arttırdığı belirlendi.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractIn this study, the effect of pyrimethamine (Daraprim), which is a folic acid antagonist and used in tlıe treatment of toxoplasmosis and malaria, on the formation of human chromosome spiralization is researched. For this purpose, 4 different dosages of pyrimethamine is added into the peripheral blood lymphocyte cultures of 17 different healthy persons. After the cytogenetic and statistic evaluations, it is determined that parallel to the increase in pyrimethamine dosage, the chromosome condensation is obviated by the prevention of the number of long chromosomes is increased.en_US
