Abstract
Edebiyat; her türlü bilgiye, her türlü ayrıntıya ihtiyaç duymaktadır.
In the history of Turkish literature, it is not always possible to reach sufficient information about people who can be considered important with their lives and works. It is possible to reach partial information about the biographies of some poets who lived centuries ago, thanks to literary and historical sources. Poet tezkires generally feature well-known and famous poets. Sometimes this biographical information is repeated. This situation is more common in the last periods of the Ottoman Empire. People like İbnülemin Mahmud Kemal and Ali Emiri Efendi who devoted their lives to the masters of civilization and their works suffered from this and transferred it to their works. Literature; It needs all kinds of information and all kinds of details. Biography and autobiographical texts, which are at the heart of this subject, are valuable treasures. Poets in the classical literature period; for the sake of tradition and humility, they did not talk about themselves much. Undoubtedly, the psychology of the poet and his view of the world are very effective in this. Some poets wrote their “terceme-i hal” with different poetry forms and titles. As exemplified in this review, the students or lovers of the poet wrote their biographies again in verse. In these texts and works, we can find a rich narrative about the era in which the artist lived, his education, his family and his mystical course.
