dc.description.abstractTemelleri Descartes felsefesine dayanan ve 17.yy.’da Port-Royal düşünürlerinin ilk varsayımlarını ortaya attığı dil kuramı, Noam Chomsky tarafından geliştirilerek formüle edilmiştir. Bu kurama göre, insanda dil yetisi doğuştan gelen ve diğer bilişsel yetilerden bağımsız bir yetidir. Bu yetiye bağlı olarak bir dil kullanımında, sınırlı sayıda sözcükle sınırsız sayıda cümlenin biçimini ve özgül anlamını olanaklı kılan kuralların oluşturduğu bir sistem söz konusudur. Chomsky’e göre bu “üretici dilbilgisi”dir. Bu kurama göre her cümlenin sesletime çıkmamış olsa bile anlamsal temelini oluşturan bir “derin yapı”sı, sözdizimsel ve sesçil biçimini oluşturan somut bir “yüzey yapı”sı vardır. İlkinin ikinciye dönüşümü, dönüşüm kuralları aracılığıyla gerçekleşir. Ancak derin yapılar, hiçbir zaman yüzey yapılara tamamıyla çıkmazlar.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractThe language theory which is based on Descartes’s philosophy and was later formulated in its rudiments by Port-Royal philosophers (in 17th century) have later been developed by Noam Chomsky. Accordingly, linguistic skills are inborn and independent from all other cognitive capabilities. Based on this impulse in language, it is possible to compose an infinite number of sentences using a limited number of words in a systematic way. Chomsky calls this “generative grammar”. According to this theory every sentence has a “deep structure” forming its semantic base (even if it has not been pronounced) and a “surface structure” shaping its syntactic and phonetical form. The former turns into the latter by means of transformaion rules. However, the deep structure never turns to the surface completely.en_US
