Noktasal düzlemsel normal kesitlerle immersiyonlar

Abstract

Bu tezde, noktasal düzlemsel normal kesitlere sahip immersiyonlara kısa bir survey vermiş bulunuyoruz. Bu nedenle, bu konu ile ilgili bazı çalışmaları bir­birlerine bağlantılı olarak açıklamaya çalıştık. Daha çok (Deprez ve Verheyen, 1986) çalışmasından faydalanmış bulunduk. Geodezik normal kesitlere ve noktasal düzlemsel normal kesitlere sahip çarpım immersiyonlarla ilgili sonuçları bir araya topladık. Bu durum bize düzlemsel normal kesitlere sahip paralel immersiyonlar, aşikar normal koneksiyonlar ve noktasal düzlemsel normal kesitlere sahip immersi­yonlar arasında bir sınıflandırma yapmamızı sağladı. Yukarıdaki açıklamaların ışığında "Immersiyon noktasal 3-düzlemsel normal kesitlere sahip olduğunda Vander-Waerden Bortolotti Koneksiyonu ve ikinci temel form arasındaki ilişki nedir?" şeklinde bir açık problem oluşmaktadır.In this thesis we have given a brief survey to the immersions that have pointwise planar normal sections. For this purpose, we have explained and joined together some papers, which are related to this area. Mostly, we have used the paper (Deprez and Verheyen, 1986). We sum up the results concerning product immersions with pointwise planar normal sections and with geodesic normal sec­tions. This leads to a classification of immersions with planar normal sections and trivial normal connections and of parallel immersions with planar normal sec­tions. As a result of those introduced the above, an open problem comes up which is "What is the relation betvveen Vander-Waerden Bortolotti Connection and the second fundemental form when the immersion has pointwise 3-planar nor­mal sections?"
