Abstract
Tarım, sanayii ve konut sektöründe kullanılan, sıvı ve gaz iletim boruları,maliyetlerinin düşük olması nedeniyle plastik boru olarak seçilmektedir. Bu tip borular, çalışma basınçlarından dolayı, metal borularda olduğundan daha sık hasara uğramaktadır. Bu nedenle plastik boruların seçimi,çalışma basınçlarına göre, gerilme analizlerinin sonucunda yapılmalıdır. Bu çalışmada plastik boru olarak yumuşak polietilen bir silindirik boru incelemeye alınmıştır. İlk olarak borunun sonlu elemanlar yöntemine göre belirli bir çalışma basıncında, gerilme analizi yapılmış, daha sonra bu basınca göre boru cidarındaki gerilmelerin, emniyetli olup olmadıkları belirlenmiştir.
The liquid and gas conduction pipes have been chosen as plastic pipe with respect to low cost in agriculture,industry and buildings. This type pipes have been often more damaged than the metal pipes with cause of working pressures. Therefore the plastic pipes must be chosen at the end of strength analysis according to the working pressure which is known before. In this research a soft polyethylene cylindrical pipe was taken in to investigation as a plastic pipe. Fırstly the strength analysis was done for a specific working pressure accordig to the finite elements method. At the end of research the strength of pipe wall was determined as being secured or not according to the pressure.
