Abstract
Oyun çocukluğu döneminde Gastrointestinal sistemde (GİS) yabancı cisimler genellikle oyuncak parçalan ve madeni paralardır. Büyük olanlar özofagusun darlıklarında takılırken diğerleri cinsine göre daha aşağılara inerken kendiliğinden çıkabilmektedir. Ağustos 1988 ile Temmuz 1989 arasında kliniğimize yabancı cisim yutma anamnezi ile gelen 14 olgu incelendi. Yaşlan 2 ay ile 10 yaş arasında, ortalama 4.0 + 3.2 yaş idi. Olguların % 86'sı hemen, yabancı cisim yutma şikayeti ile başvurdu. 13 olguda yabancı cisim üst GİS te 1 olguda ise barsaklardaydı. Yabancı cisimlerin % 57'si madeni para idi. 13 olguda yabancı cisim özofagoskopi ile çıkarıldı. Bir olguda ise kendiliğinden gaita ile çıktı. Hiçbirinde komplikasyon gelişmedi.
Between August 1988 and July 1989, 14 cases with Foreign bodies in gastrointestinal system (GIS) were hospitalized. The range of age was between 2 months and 10 years and average age was 4.0 + 3.2 years. In 86 % of the cases admission to the hospital was immediately following the ingestion of foreign bodies. One of the cases had the foreign body in the intestines and others in upper GIS. Coins were the most common foreign body. The extraction of foreign bodies was achieved by means of esophagoscopy and in one case foreign body was expelled spontaneously. There was no complication in our cases.
