Abstract
1970-2005 arası dönemde yazılan sosyal içerikli Türk çocuk romanlarında aile konusunu incelediğimiz bu tez çalışmasında, betimleme yöntemine göre, telif çocuk romanlarından sosyal içerikli olanları, belirtilen tarihsel dönem içinden seçilerek oluşturulan bir örneklem bağlamında çözümlemeye tâbî tutulmuştur. Tez çalışması, giriş ve sonuç haricinde üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde; çocuk edebiyatının tanımı, türleri, bunların içinde romanların konumu, Türkiye’de ve dünyadaki gelişimi ve 1970’lere kadarki dönemde ülkemizde yazılan çocuk romanlarında ailenin yeri konuları ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde, sosyolojik açıdan ailenin önemi, işlevleri, türleri ve Türkiye’deki yapısal dönüşümü üzerinde durulmuştur. Üçüncü bölüm, tezin ana kısmını oluşturmaktadır. Bu bölümde, çocuk romanlarımıza yansıdığı ölçüde, roman örnekleri içerisinde ailenin değişik işlevleri, çocuk merkezli olarak aile fertleri arasındaki ilişkiler, aile sorunları ve aile kurumunun yakın çevresiyle ilişkileri irdelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, incelenen dönemlerdeki hâkim sosyal yapı ile bu dönemde yazılan çocuk romanlarına yansıyan aile konusu genel hatlarıyla uyumlu bulunmuştur.
In this thesis, we have dwelt upon the family subject in Turkish children’s novels in literature written over a thirty five-year period between 1970 and 2005. We have analysed social-related children’s novels in the context of a specific sample model which has been created by considering the above-mentioned time period. This thesis is comprised of three main parts except for introduction and conclusion parts. In the first part of the thesis; we have analysed the definition of children’s literature, its types, the place and the main role of novels in it, its development process in Turkey and throughout the world, the position and the role of families in children’s literature during the period of time up to the 1970s. In the second part; we have analysed the importance of families sociologically, its functions and types; furthermore, we have considered its structural transformation in Turkey. The third part fundamentally consists of the main concern of the thesis. We have examined some different functions of families in the relevant novel samples, relationships among the family members in terms of children, typical problems of families, the relationships between families and their close environment. As a consequence, the social form of the relevant period and the concept of family in children’s novels written in that period have generally had the same regular pattern.
