Özet

In this study, impact energy's propagation behaviors along woven para-aramid Fabric plane were researched by using 2-D TPS method. For this purpose, dimensions of fabric deformation that occur in different layer numbers were determined by dropping weights with different tip types from a certain height. By using shape changes that occur in relation to deformation, energy propagation behaviors in fabric planes were found. In order to find energy propagation behaviors, bending energy of fabrics were calculated and expansion factors were determined. It was established that impact energy is propagated along the fabric plane in the direction of warp and weft fibers interlaced perpendicularly to each other.
