Endemik Prometheum chrysantum subsp. uludaghense Ulu kaya göbeği (Crassulaceae/Damkoruğugiller) alt türü üzerinde morfolojik ve anatomik özelliklerin araştırılması

Abstract

Çalışmamızda, Uludağ Soğukpınar ve Harmancık’ta endemik olarak bulunan Prometheum chrysantum subsp. uludaghense alt türünün morfolojik ve anatomik özellikleri kapsamlı bir şekilde araştırılmıştır. Araştırma, 2022 ve 2023 yıllarında Temmuz ve Ağustos aylarında Bursa Uludağ'da gerçekleştirilen arazi çalışmalarında elde edilen örnekler ile yapılmıştır. Ayrıca, arazi örneklerinin yanı sıra herbaryum koleksiyonları da incelenmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, Prometheum chrysanthum subsp. uludaghense alt türüne ait örneklerin kök, gövde, yaprak, çiçek özelliklerinin genel olarak literatürde tanımlanan özelliklerle uyumlu olduğu belirlenmiştir. Prometheum chrysanthum subsp. uludaghense kalın bir kutikula tabakası, kranz anatomi yapısı ve özel epidermis hücreleri sayesinde kuraklığa dayanıklı hale gelmiştir. Yaprak yapısındaki stomalar, su kaybını kontrol altında tutarak bitkinin çevresel koşullara adaptasyonunu sağlamaktadır. Çalışmanın sonuçları, Bursa bölgesindeki biyolojik çeşitliliğe katkı sunmakta ve gelecekteki botanik çalışmalar için önemli bir referans oluşturmaktadır. Bu endemik türün korunması, bölgesel biyolojik çeşitliliğin devamı için büyük önem arz etmektedir.

In our study, the morphological and anatomical features of the Prometheum chrysanthum subsp. uludaghense subspecies, which is endemic to Uludağ Soğukpınar and Harmancık, were investigated comprehensively. The research was conducted with samples obtained during field studies carried out in Bursa Uludağ in July and August of 2022 and 2023. In addition to field samples, herbarium collections were also examined. As a result of the analyzes, it was determined that the root, stem, leaf and flower characteristics of the samples belonging to the Prometheum chrysanthum subsp. uludaghense subspecies were generally compatible with the features defined in the literature. Prometheum chrysanthum subsp. uludaghense has become resistant to drought thanks to a thick cuticle layer, cranial anatomy structure and special epidermis cells. The stomata in the leaf structure ensure the adaptation of the plant to environmental conditions by controlling water loss. The results of the study contribute to the biological diversity in the Bursa region and constitute an important reference for future botanical studies. The protection of this endemic species is of great importance for the continuation of regional biodiversity.
