The conditions created by hyper competition in today’s business world are causing an increasing number of products to enter the market. Changing economic conditions are forcing companies to adopt innovative approaches. These changes, which affect all sectors worldwide, also affect the construction sector. This situation inspired a new organizational strategy in which supplier companies that are active in production, application, sales and marketing of construction materials assumed an important role in educating the construction sector and developed and improved their marketing strategies to reach architects, engineers, contractors and end users. From this point of view, suppliers that are gaining roles with greater importance in the development and dissemination of innovation have been selected as the focus point of this study. In this context, field research has been planned to reveal supplier approaches to applying new products, innovative applications, and new trends. The method used is introduced in this study. This study, which examines the historical development of innovation in the construction sector, will assist suppliers in developing innovation strategies that will shape the future of the sector.
