Abstract
In recent years, ascites syndrome which causing an important economic lose in broiler enterprises has been forming a serious problem for world broiler industry. Increased incidence of ascites in broilers has been associated with environmental factors, dietary factors, toxicants, and respiratory systems diseases. Among the environmental factors known to increase the incidence of ascites are cold, high levels of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, dust, ammonia and hypoxia also among the dietary factors are excess dietary sodium, high energy diets, pelleted feed and supplementation of high levels of cobalt in the diets.
