Şemsüddîn es-Semerkandî’nin hudûs anlayışı

Abstract

Semerkandî, Hanefi/Mâtürîdî ekolünün müteahhir dönem temsilcisi olarak kabul gören çok yönlü muhakkik bir âlimdir. O, yaşadığı dönemde kelâm, felsefe, mantık, matematik ve geometri alanlarına dair yazdığı eserleriyle tanınmış ve bu alanlardaki yetkinliğini ortaya koymuştur. Bu araştırmada onun, Tanrı-âlem ilişkisinde âlemin sonradan yaratılmış olmasının zamana nispeti bağlamında ortaya çıkan ve sonrasında yabancı kültürlerden tevarüs edilen atom teorisinin, âlemin yaratılmış olmasından hareketle Tanrı’nın varlığını ispat etmek (isbât-ı vâcib) için kelâmcılar tarafından mutlak kudret ve irade sahibi bir yaratıcıyı ispatlamaya yönelik evrilerek kozmolojik bir delil halini alan “hudûs’’ kavramı hakkındaki görüşleri konu edinilmiştir. Bu bağlamda onun kendi eserleri üzerinden hudûs anlayışı tahlil ve tasvir edilmiştir. Giriş bölümünde araştırmanın konusu, önemi, kapsamı, amacı, yöntemi, kaynakları ve Semerkandî’nin şahsî ve ilmî kimliği hakkında kısa ve öz bilgiler aktarılmıştır. Birinci bölümde, Semerkandî’nin hudûs anlayışının daha iyi kavranabilmesi ve mukayese imkânı elde etmek hedeflenerek, hudûs hakkında tarihî ve nazarî bir zemin oluşturulmuştur. İkinci bölümde ise onun hudûs anlayışını ortaya koyabilmek adına, hudûsla ilgili meseleler, kavram ve tanımlar onun kendi eserleri üzerinden aktarılmıştır. Son olarak ise sonuç bölümünde onun hudûs anlayışı hakkında genel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır.

al-Samarqandī is a versatile and scholarly scholar who is accepted as a representative of the Hanafi/Māturīdī school of thought during the mutaakhkhir period. He was known for his works in the fields of theology, philosophy, logic, mathematics and geometry during his lifetime and demonstrated his competence in these fields. This research examines his views on the concept of “hudūth’’, which emerged in the context of the time relation of the creation of the universe later in the God-universe relationship and later evolved into a cosmological argument by the theologians to prove the existence of God (ithbāt al-wājib) based on the creation of the universe in the atomic theory inherited from foreign cultures. In this context, his understanding of hudūth was analyzed and described through his own works. In the introduction, brief and concise information about the subject, importance, scope, purpose, method, sources of the research and al-Samarqandī’s personal and scientific personality is given. In the first section, an attempt is made to establish a historical and theoretical basis for the subject of hudūth, aiming to better understand al-Samarqandī’s understanding of hudūth and to provide a comparative opportunity. In the second section, in order to reveal his understanding of hudūth, issues, concepts and definitions related to hudūth are analyzed and described through his own works. Finally, in the conclusion section, a general evaluation is made about his understanding of hudūth.
