dc.description.abstractA water-distilled oil from aerial parts of Thymus syriacus was examined by GC/MS. Thirty-four components representing 94.75% of the oil were characterized. The major components were thymol (49.04%), carvacrol (15.87%), p-cymene (6.75%) and borneol (5.94%). © 1994 Allured Publishing Corp.
