Abstract

Bursa İli, Gürsu İlçesi, Karahıdır Köyü Mahallesi H22A25C3C Pafta 2944 Ada 4 Parselde bulunan köy camisi kırma çatılı, kerpiç kâgir, tek katlı yapıdır. Harman tuğla örgülü tek şerefeli minaresinin girişindeki kitabe bulunmaktadır. Yapının günümüzde tahrip edilmiş kadınlar mahfiline iç mekândan tek kollu bir merdiven ile ulaşılmaktadır. Bursa'nın kuzeydoğusundaki Karahıdır Köyü içe dönük yapısı ile göç almamaktadır. Ancak geçen süre zarfında artan nüfus sebebi ile bahse konu cami yetersiz kalmış ve yeni büyük bir cami inşa edilmiştir. Zamanla eski cami terk edilmiştir. Günümüzde artık kullanılmayan yapıda kaçak kazılar yapılmış, hava koşullarına maruz kalan ve zaman içerisinde zarar gören yapı atıl durumdadır. Strüktürel sorunları da olan yapı için ivedi bir şekilde onarım yapılması ve yeniden işlevlendirilmesi gerekmektedir. Yöntem olarak nicel ve nitel araştırmanın birlikte yürütüleceği bu tezde, dönemsel araştırmalar ile yapının geçirdiği değişiklikler, kaynak taraması ile desteklenerek ortaya konulmuştur. Mevcut durumu analitik olarak incelenerek belgelenmiş ve rölöve çizimleri hazırlanmıştır. Yapıdaki strüktürel değişiklikler, yapısal izler, motif ve bezemeler, bozulma ve sebepleri, benzer dönem örnekleri ile birlikte değerlendirilmiştir. Dönem analizleri ve malzeme analizleri ile restitüsyon projeleri hazırlanmıştır. Analiz verileri üzerinden müdahale yöntemleri belirlenerek ve yapısal değerlendirmeler sonucunda yeni işlevi için gerekli düzenlemeler ile birlikte koruma projesi hazırlanmıştır. Gelecekte köy yaşantısına değer katan yeni işlevi ile yerleşimin yok olan geçmişini günümüzde yaşatabilmesiiçin çalışmanın faydalı olması umulmaktadır.

This study focuses on the historical village mosque located in Karahıdır Neighborhood, Gürsu District, Bursa Province (H22A25C3C Map Section, Block 2944, Parcel 4). The building, characterized by a hipped roof, adobe masonry walls, and a single-story plan, features a single-balcony minaret constructed with fired brick, bearing an inscription at its entrance. Access to the now-deteriorated women's gallery is provided via an internal single-flight staircase. Karahıdır Village, positioned in the northeastern part of Bursa, has maintained its traditional inward-oriented structure and has not experienced significant migration. However, due to population growth over time, the original mosque became insufficient, leading to the construction of a new, larger mosque and the gradual abandonment of the historic structure.Currently, the building remains unused, exposed to adverse environmental conditions, illicit excavations, and extensive structural deterioration. Given its critical condition, urgent restoration and adaptive reuse are necessary to ensure its preservation. The methodology of this thesis incorporates both quantitative and qualitative research approaches. Through historical investigations and literature review, the chronological alterations of the building have been documented. Analytical surveys were conducted to assess the current condition, supported by the preparation of measured drawings. Structural changes, construction traces, decorative elements, patterns of deterioration, and comparative analyses with contemporary examples were evaluated. Based on period analyses and material studies, restitution projects were developed.Intervention strategies were formulated according to the analysis data, and a comprehensive conservation project was designed, integrating the necessary adjustments for the building's new function. It is anticipated that, through its revitalized role contributing to village life, this project will assist in preserving and sustaining the lost historical fabric of Karahıdır Village into the present and future.
