Orhangazi ilçesinde zeytin üretiminin ekonomik analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'nin en önemli tarımsal ürünlerinden olan sofralık zeytinin üretim alanlarından biri olan Bursa'nın Orhangazi İlçesinde yetiştirilen zeytinin üretiminin maliyeti ve pazarlama durumu incelenmiştir. Araştırmada ilçede zeytincilik yapan tarım işletmelerine ait veriler yazılı olarak anket yolu ile toplanmıştır. Bunun yanında, bölgede sofralık zeytin ile ilgili çalışan çeşitli kamu ve özel sektör kuruluşlarından gerekli veriler, elde edilerek, çalışmada gerek duyulan bilgiler tamamlanmıştır. Zeytincilik yapan işletmelerin toplam tarım arazilerinin çoğunu zeytin bahçeleri (% 70' i) oluşturmaktadır. İncelenen işletmelerin, toplam sermayesinin %98,64'i arazi sermayesi, %1,36'si ise işletme sermayesinden oluşturmaktadır. Sofralık zeytinin üretiminde teknik işlemlerin yetersiz yapılması ya da yanlış uygulanması, verim ve kaliteyi düşürmektedir. Aynı zamanda maliyeti olumsuz etkilemektedir. Yapılan araştırmada Cobb-Douglas üretim fonksiyonu ile zeytin üretiminde kullanılan arazi, gübreleme, ilaçlama ve işgücü gibi girdilerin verimi nasıl etkileyeceği hesaplanmıştır. Sofralık zeytinin yetiştirilmesinde etkili ve iyi verim alınabilmesi için doğru yetiştirme tekniklerinin uygulanması gerekmektedir.

Being one of the most important agricultural products, table olive's cost and marketing situations in one of the most significant production areas, Orhangazi/Bursa is studied in this paper. Data from the agricultural enterprises which do olive cultivation were gathered through surveys done both written and oral. Beside this, by acquiring needed data from different public and private institutes working on the table olive in the district, the required data for the paper is completed. The total agricultural area which agricultural enterprise owe is mostly (% 70) constitutes of olive grove. The inspected enterprises are formed from %98,64 land funds and %1,36 enterprise funds. In the production of table olive, implementing technical processes insufficient or wrong reduces growing crops and quality. At the same time it affects the cost negatively. In the research conducted, with the cobb-Douglas production function how inputs like areas used for olive production, fertilization, disinfection, work-force can affect growing crops is calculated. In the table olive production to be able to get effective and good growing crops it is important to implement right growing technics.
