Süt ineklerinde mevsimsel bazı mineral, hematokrit ve sedimentasyon değerlerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Uludağ Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Uygulama ve Araştırma Çiftliğinde yetiştirilen sığırlar materyal olarak kullanıldı. îki gruba ayrılan (10 düve, 10 sağmal) sığırlardan kış (Ocak, Şubat, Mart) ve yaz (Haziran, Temmuz, Ağustos) dönemlerinde ayda iki kez alınan kan örnekleri eritrosit sedimentasyon oranı (ESR), hematokrit (PCV), kalsiyum, sodyum ve potasyum yönlerinden incelendi. Düvelerde kış ve yaz sırasında ESR (1 ve 2 saat) 17.50-22.68 mm/saat, 36.37-42.72 mm/2 saat, PCV % 31.98-27,32, serum kalsiyum (Ca) 10.26-10.15 mg/dl, plazma sodyum (PNa) 149.85-147.72 m.Eq/l, plazma potasyum (PK) 3.86-4.42 mEq/l, eritrosit sodyum (ENa) 80.80-62.98 mEq/l ve eritrosit potasyum (EK) 16.07-12.65 mEq/l olarak bulundu. Sağılanlarda kış ve yaz sırasında ESR (1 ve 2 saat ) 19.48-24.23 mm/saat, 41.67-46.70 mm/2saat, PCV %30. 52-26,52, serum Ca 10.06-9.99 mg/dl, PNa 149.63-148.05 mEq/l, PK 3.98-4.56 mEq/l, ENa 77.10-65.40 mEq/l ve EK 15.92-12.35 mEq/l olarak bulundu. Düve ve sağmallarda ESR ve PK değerleri yazın kışa göre daha yüksek (PO.01), PCV, PNa, ENa, ve EK değerleri ise daha düşük bulundu. Sağılanlarda kalsiyum değerlerinde mevsimsel fark yok iken düvelerde yazın kışa oranla değerler düşük (P<0.05) bulunmuştur.Düvelerde sağılanlara göre hematokrit ve serum kalsiyum değerleri, önemli düzeyde yüksek (P<0.01), sedimentasyon oranı (1 ve 2 saat ) ise önemli düzeyde düşük (P<0.01) bulunmuştur. ENa miktarı kışın düvelerde sağılanlara göre yüksek (P<0.05) iken, yazın iki grup arasında fark saptanmamıştır. PNa, PK ve EK değerlerinde de iki grup arasında farklılık gözlenmemiştir.

A Study on some Seasonal Mineral, Hematocrit and Sedimentation Values of Dairy Cows. Cattle kept and raised at the practice and research farm of Uludağ University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine were used as the material. Blood samples taken from jugular vein twice a month, in winter (January, February, March) and in summer (June, July, August) from cattle divided into two equal groups (10 heifers and 10 lactating cows ) were analysed for erythrocyte sedimentation rates (ESR), hematocrit (PCV), calcium, sodium and potassium. Winter and summer values of heifers for sedimentation rates (for 1 and 2 hours) 17.50-22.68 mm/hour, 36.37-42.72 mm/2hours, PCV 31.98-27.32 %, serum calcium (Ca) 10.26-10.15 mg/dl, plasma sodium (PNa) 149.85-147.72 mEq/1, plasma potassium (PK) 3.86-4.42 mEq/1, erythrocyte sodium (ENa) 80.80-62.98 mEq/1 and erythrocyte potassium (EK) 16.07-12.65 mEq l\ were calculated respectively. Winter and summer values of dairy cows for ESR (for 1 and 2 hours) 19.48-24.23 mm/hour, 41.67-46.70 mm/2hours, PCV 30.52-26.52 %, serum calcium 10,06-9.99 mg/dl, PNa 149.63-148.05 mEq/1, PK 3.98-4.56 mEq/I, ENa 77.10-65.40 mEq/1 and EK 15.92-12.35 mEq/1 were calculated respectively.In heifers and Iactating cows, summer values of ESR and PK were higher than winter values (P<0.01), but PCV, PNa, ENa and EK values were lower than that of winter values. There was no seasonal difference between calcium values of Iactating cows, but summer calcium values of heifers were lower than winter values (P<0.05). In heifers, hematocrit and serum calcium values were higher, while sedimentation rates (1 and 2 hours) lower to a great extent than that of Iactating cows (PO.01). Winter ENa values of heifers were higher than that of Iactating cows (P<0.05), but no difference was obtained for summer values between two groups. No statistically important difference was observed between two groups for PNa, PK and EK values.
