Abstract
Bu çalışmada, elektrikli araçlarda kullanılan Li-Ion bataryaların ve soğutma sistemlerinin genel bir incelemesi yapılarak dört/on altı hücreden oluşan bir Li-Ion batarya grubunun ısıl davranışları deneysel ve sayısal olarak incelenmiştir. Yapılan deneysel çalışmada deşarj işlemi dikkate alınmıştır. Sayısal hesaplamalarda Hesaplamalı Akışkanlar Dinamiği (HAD) analizi yapılarak deneysel veriler ile soğutma sistemi olmadan karşılaştırma yapılmıştır. Ek olarak, mevcut batarya grubuna sayısal modelde bir serpantin kanallı soğutucu blok eklenerek HAD analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen sayısal sonuçlar deneysel veriler ile uyum içerisindedir.
In this study, a general review of Li-Ion batteries and cooling systems used in electric vehicles was made and the thermal behavior of a Li-Ion battery group consisting of four/sixteen cells was investigated experimentally and numerically. In the experimental study, the discharge process was taken into consideration. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis was performed in numerical calculations and a comparison was made with experimental data without a cooling system. In addition, CFD analysis was carried out by adding a serpentine channel cold plate in the numerical model to the existing battery group. The numerical results obtained are in compliance with the experimental data.
