Spinoza’da zorunluluk ve özgürlük ilişkisinin kaos teorisi ışığında yeniden değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Yirminci yüzyılın ikinci yarısında meteoroloji çalışmaları ile bilim alanında varlık gösteren kaos teorisi ve doğrusal olmayan (non-lineer) bilim, yüzyılın son çeyreğinde artan ilgi ve araştırmalar sonucu gelişerek bir yandan fizik, kimya, biyoloji ve mekanik sistemler gibi doğa bilimlerinde, diğer yandan ise toplumsal ve finansal sistemler gibi sosyal bilimlerde uygulama alanı bulmuştur. On dokuzuncu yüzyıldaki sanayi devrimi ve bugün ulaştığımız bilimsel gelişmelere zemin hazırlayan -Descartes’la başlayıp on yedinci ve on sekizinci yüzyıllarda olgunlaşan- modern dönem felsefesinin, bugünkü bilimsel gelişmeler ışığında yeniden yorumlanıp değerlendirilebileceği ve bununla birlikte bugün bilimsel gelişmelerde geldiğimiz sınırın doğrusal olmayan bilimin felsefi yorumuyla genişletilebileceği düşüncesiyle bu çalışmamızda Spinoza felsefesinde önemli bir yer tutan insanın tâbî olduğu zorunlulukların kaos teorisi ve doğrusal olmayan bilim kullanılarak daha iyi anlaşılabileceğini ve böylece Spinoza’nın işaret ettiği özgürlük yolunun daha iyi kavranabileceğini ortaya koymaya çalıştık. Bilimsel gelişmeleri ve felsefeyi birlikte işe koşarak insanın uymak zorunda olduğu ve tutsaklığına neden olan zorunlulukları, sezgisel bilgi yoluyla modus özündeki gerçekliğine uygun olarak kavrayabilecek ve upuygun fikirlerin egemen olduğu bir zihin durumuyla özgürlüğe giden yola girilebileceği sonucuna vardık.

Chaos theory and non-linear science, which emerged in the field of science with meteorology studies in the second half of the twentieth century, developed as a result of increasing interest and research in the last quarter of the century and found application areas in natural sciences such as physics, chemistry, biology and mechanical systems on the one hand, and in social sciences such as social and financial systems on the other. With the idea that the modern philosophy that paved the way for the industrial revolution in the nineteenth century and the scientific developments we have reached today - starting with Descartes and maturing in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries - can be reinterpreted and evaluated in the light of today's scientific developments, and that the limit we have reached today in scientific developments can be expanded with the philosophical interpretation of non- linear science, we have tried to show in this study that the necessities to which man is subject, which have an important place in Spinoza's philosophy, can be better understood by using chaos theory and non-linear science, and thus the path to freedom pointed out by Spinoza can be better grasped. By combining scientific developments and philosophy, we have come to the conclusion that the obligations that humans must obey and that cause their captivity can be grasped in accordance with the reality of the modus essential through intuitive knowledge, and that the path to freedom can be entered with a state of mind dominated by adequate ideas.
