Bu çalışmada sera koşullarında marul bitkisine artan oranlarda uygulanan kükürdün bitkinin kuru madde, kükürt, toplam azot ve nitrat içeriği üzerine etkileri incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla marul bitkisine temel gübreleme olarak (100 mg N kg-1) üre gübresinden ve azot konsantrasyonları dengelenecek şekilde (1, 5, 10, 20 ve 40 mg S kg-1) amonyum sülfat gübresi uygulanmıştır. Deneme sekiz hafta sürdürülmüş ve süre sonunda bitkiler toprak yüzeyinden kesilerek deneme sonlandırılmıştır. Deneme sonucunda yapılan analizler ile marul bitkisine artan oranda uygulanan kükürdün bitkinin kuru madde ve toplam azot içerine her hangi bir etkisinin bulunmadığını ancak özellikle kükürdün 40 mg S kg-1 dozunun marul bitkisinin NO3-N içeriğinde önemli düzeyde azalmaya neden olduğu belirlenmiştir
In this study, the effects of increasing amounts of sulfur applied to the lettuce plant under greenhouse conditions on the dry matter, sulfur, total nitrogen and nitrate content of the plant were investigated. For this purpose, urea fertilizer (100 mg N kg-1) and ammonium sulfate fertilizer (1, 5, 10, 20 and 40 mg S kg-1) were applied to the lettuce plant in a way that the nitrogen concentrations were balanced. The experiment was continued for eight weeks and at the end of the experiment, the plants were cut from the soil surface and the experiment was ended. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the sulfur applied to the lettuce plant at an increasing dosses did not have any effect on the dry matter and total nitrogen content of the plant, but especially the 40 mg S kg-1 dose of sulfur caused a significant decrease in the NO3-N content of the lettuce plant.
