Özet
Bu çalışmada; Ahmet Mithat Efendi’nin düşünce yapısında muhafazakârlığın yeri nedir sorunsalı ele alınmıştır. Öncelikle Ahmet Mithat’ın ele aldığı konular çerçevesinde muhafazakâr düşüncenin özellikleri incelenmiştir. Ardından Ahmet Mithat’ın fikirleri araştırılmış ve muhafazakâr yönü ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Son olarak genel hatlarıyla Türk muhafazakârlığı incelenmiş, Ahmet Mithat’ın Türk muhafazakârlığı üzerindeki etkisi irdelenmiştir
In this study; the question that what is the importance of conservatism in the structure of Ahmet Mithat Efendi's idea is discussed. First of all, the characteristics of conservative idea are examined in the framework of topics which are discussed by Ahmet Mithat. Then Ahmet Mithat's ideas are researched and his conservatism is revealed. Finally, the general outline of Turkish conservatism is examined and Ahmet Mithat's impact on Turkish conservatism is scrutinized.
